the old CMS treeview was always open when editing content and you could always get the menu ID of the page you were on, either from the treeview or the URL bar of the editor window.
The new one doesn't show you, the only way to get it is to go to "edit properties"
This is unhelpful, as (for example) if you are on page "test" and edit a plugin that has a target menu ID, it is not easy to see where it goes (either reloads current page or goes to another page) without leaving the page you are on, going to "find page", typing the number in, and hoping you remember what you were looking for when the treeview shows you the path to the page
The solution here may not be to show the menu ids everywhere but to instead show the friendly names of pages on all plug-in properties forms etc.
