Web Quotes are cool - but it would be a relatively tiny development, with huge sales impact if we could track the views and opens of eQuotes (with view and open clicks recorded by the plugin into the CRM just like we see for email marketing clicks). Then as a sales person I could follow-up much better on my quotes.
Obviously the next thing to want is to be able to "follow" a quote - but this can come later, especially as this is much broader functionality that we would want all over the place (follow a problem, follow a lead, follow a quote) ...
the only thing worth considering at this stage is perhaps adding a note as well as recording the open/view in a reportable table ... that way we can perhaps just implement "follow" on the notes and have other stuff update the notes that then triggers the "follow" notification.
