I have a customer that watermarks all of their images with their company name, before using them on their website. How difficult would it be to add a function, where a .png could be added, a opacity (transparency) percentage could be set, and previewed against a standard example image, then the watermark applied to all the product images? Perhaps some form of sizing or positioning function would be required also; to put the watermark in the centre, bottom right etc of the product images.
This sounds like a good idea and something we could implement in the future.
oh, and if there is a request on the URL by a non-authenticated user it should not return the image for those products defined for watermarking.
further to my previous comments, we would also need to be able to specify at a SKU level which products get watermarked.
We could use this also, we would like to be able to define the contact email address as the field which is used as the watermark as this would give us tracability on any unathorised reporoduction ( for products which are not publicly released)
