Favicon should be part of the site properties

At the moment you create a site and it has no favicon because new sites have no file cache. but either way, it is such a common task that I think it should be soooo simple to do. and should be part of the site properties where you just drag and drop it (And it gets transformed to the right size/type etc). Including all the right specialist formats for iPhone etc.
