When you go to a tab such as the problem tab and are looking for a particular problem it would be really good to be able to search this list from within the tab. If you had a search bar which allowed the user to start typing their search and this filtered the list as they type, it would allow for much quicker access to details/records in all tabs in the CRM.
The latest CRM has a search at the top of every list, including reports, tabs, notepad etc.
This was raised by a potential customer Chris and I met with earlier in the week. Their sales team currently record every minute detail during a sales call which would heavily populate the notepad. They stressed a need to be able to easily locate certain notes against a contact or division. The current system has searching functionality which they love, we were unable to offer such functionality. I think it would be a great feature to be able to search within notepads, problems or lead tabs.
i think that would be much more user friendly than the current Ctrl+F search. that takes you down the list one by one, but you're still working form a huge list. You'd be much better off with a dynamic list that shrinks and grows depending on what you type into the search bar, much like Google instant search.
