"In use" rather than "obsolete"

When we move the admin tables from the CRM to the admin portal, can we change the "obsolete" flag to being a positive "in use" flag instead (just reversing the value in the UI rather than changing the database ... although if we wanted the database to match we could add a new in-use flag and make obsolete a calculated value.
