Contact Photos

Most CRMs and contact databases I've used (inc. Pipedrive, OUTLOOK, Apple Contacts, LinkedIn and some bespoke systems etc) can store images of a contact's face. This is extremely useful when visiting new customers, or when revisiting someone you haven't seen for a long time (or if you are merely bad at remembering faces) - as you arrive, a quick check on Prospect on your mobile - and you can ensure you recognise the customer when you meet. Alternatively, colleagues can see your customer's face, if they are due to meet them in your place. It seems to be a fairly standard feature elsewhere - most peoples' memories are most efficiently triggered by images, rather than text.

Contact Profile photo is huge! In addition, use the smart link to pull profile photos from LinkedIn account, etc.

The company I worked with in the 1990s put photos of us on our business cards. Both Microsoft OUTLOOK and Apple Contacts enable contact photos. A picture worth a thousand words and - if visiting a client to see a contact I might have met once a year ago, it would be very useful to be able to look up their head shot so that I might recognise them when they enter a meeting room.

As the poster highlights, it seems very strange that a Customer Relationship Management system does not have the option to add a contact image. We can have our own images uploaded but not our customers? We can have product images but not our customers' headshot? We have ProspectSoft staff headshots but not our customers headshots? Given that a social searching is offered, could this not return a selection of images to choose from? As the poster mentions, when meeting a customer in person would be really really helpful to have an idea what they actually look like.
