A customer would like to be able to customise the fields that are displayed on the global search. Every customer has different requirements on what is displayed on the global search, so the best solution would be to add a customiser for the global search layout and the customer can pick which fields they'd like to display at each level of the hierarchy within the search.
Our newer version of prospects which we have today, no longer allows this. such a shame. please bring it back
You still can't customise the fields on the global search, but in the newest version (coming to all customers over the next few weeks) there are new searches in the left-hand menu for specific entities like customers, contacts, products, problems, opportunities etc ... and because these are for a specific entity, you can choose the fields being displayed. Hopefully this will do what you need...
