A customer would find it useful to be able to omit certain months from the RFM Analysis. E.g. if a business is seasonal or because of COVID you may wish to omit certain months from the analysis.
Because the RFM system is calculated using data over a two year period, it will naturally sort itself out as soon as those customers recover from COVID and re-open. Obviously those that dont will remain in "at risk" or churning states.
We've modelled the data several ways and it really does work better in the vast majority of cases just to leave the RFM algorithms alone.
