Customers have expressed that they would want a pop-up window with an orders details when a user tries to confirm an order. This would be useful for double-checking everything's correct, to reduce the margin of error with orders.
This feature already somewhat exists within the CRM, under the Delivery Charge settings. However, unless you have delivery charges set it, or have the permissions to set them, it doesn't work. Instead, it just brings up an error saying "Delivery Charge is invalid".
This is not ideal, as you don't necessarily want to give everyone on the team the ability to set delivery charges, and some companies have specialist delivery methods that the standard delivery options don't cover.
The idea behind this would be to make the pop-up a separate option to Delivery Charges in the configuration options.
Just to add to that comment, If you want to use the popup, but you don't want to actually use delivery charges, then you will need to also tick the option "Allow Collection / No Delivery (no charge)". If you don't then the UI will prevent you from confirming the order without setting a delivery charge. Setting this will make it work fine ... We will separately log an improvement to the layout and descriptions for those options to make this more obvious.
This feature already exists. The options could definitely do with being clearer, but in the settings, under "delivery charges" settings, you can tick two boxes to prompt the user at order confirmation. If you tick this on, but don't change any of the other delivery charge options (or set those up if you want them) then you get a popup to confirm the PO ref, delivery address etc (including delivery charge if configured)
