There is currently a system option for 'Default Note Spoke Code', which controls the default interaction type that is used when logging notes under records. This is also used for when emails are sent out in the CRM as the default interaction type for the email, and this is used when logging to the activity history table.
Emails and notes should be able to use different default note codes. There are separate options for Recall and Status change, we should add one for sending emails for better data management.
