It would be useful if the Save to CRM function counted as an activity on the record you have saved it against. Currently if you save an email against a quote, it does not update the quotes last activity.
Just an update/correction/clarification. In v81, the Last Active Engagement is being set by save-to-crm but not last activity date. This is being reviewed/revisited but no decision has yet been made either way. We need to carefully consider what customers (a cross-section of customers) understand these fields to represent / how they use them.
In the latest release (v81, which isnt available to everyone yet but is being rolled out), using Save-to-CRM to save an email will now update the Last Activity date.
