Option to not pass Extended Description to Dear Inventory

A customer has their product extended description in Dear Inventory and this is imported into the Extended Description, which is then displayed within the quote table as this includes information about the product for the customer. When the order is confirmed we're posting the extended description through to the comments section of the sales order in Dear Inventory. The customer would want the option to not pass through the extended description to this field when the order is confirmed.
