Some of our users have many tasks in which navigating them can be difficult. If a user knows they have an outstanding opportunity for 'Steve' at 'Jam Jars ltd', they can either scroll through their tasks trying to find an opportunity in a sea of many others, or start searching the CRM from the global search which feels long winded.
A faster way of locating a task would be to make the task list dropdown searchable. So if I start typing the name of a contact/ opportunity etc. it returns relevant records speeding up how quickly I can navigate to the record in my task list.

But, we've now completed the first part of this development (we've rewritten tasks and are now working on Calendars & Events) so why not Register your interest to get involved as an Early Adopter and give us your feedback on these major product enhancements.
This will be available in the report available behind the "See more" link on the tasks panel. That already exists but will be much more useful when we've completed our update of tasks.
