It would be useful to have the ability for Prospect to send an alert to a pre-configured email address when an Order is created in the accounting system.
Andrew Symons has noted this is not the option he meant but that 'the notification should fire when the order is created in Exchequer and should also include the SOR number otherwise it is an incredibly manual process for the administration team as they have to keep checking for the order's existence and also find the order - when it could be more timely.'
I believe the Notification is only for the Prospect side of things ie when a user converts it to an order in prospect the email is created which may be some time before the order is created in the Accounts package via the Automation. Ideally the notification would be after the order is successfully created in the Accounts system and an email could be sent to the notification address including the Sales Order no
Thanks
Andrew Symons

This option already exists. You can search the system settings for "Notifications" and you'll find one called "Notifications for New Orders". This allows you to configure one or more email addresses to notify.
But obviously come back to us with more details if this isn't what you are looking for.
