When an order is confirmed it is possible to have an automated email go to the customer.When an order is confirmed it should be possible to have an automated email go to an internal contact at the customers company i.e. sales@prospectsoft.com.The benefit of this is that the team that will be responsible for the dispatch of the items will get a notification and will know to go into their inventory management system.
This should be a system option, the admin should specify which email addresses should be notified and the email template that should be used.
Hi Patrick. An option for this already exists. Search the settings for "Notifications for New Orders"
