The Created date on a sales ledger record usually ties up to the date it was created if it is either created in CRM by a user, or imported to CRM from ERP the same day it was created.
However, this is not always accurate - for example, an initial data import from an ERP system will set the "created" date of the import, and any CRM upgrades that need to recreate the ledger records will set the created date to the date of the update.
Some customers report on their accounts using the "created" date as a way to define new customers based on specific dates, and it would be good to have an extra "Account set-up date" field that would either import from the created date in ERP, or be set to the date of record creation in CRM.
