drag and drop emails in the activity stream with preview

different team members us the functions differently but with our process our emails are normally just over the save to CRM add in function thus we loose the attachments, thus drag and drop covers this issue, but the down side is the preview email text no longer appears on the activity list and so we end up review the documents to find the email to remind ourselves of the conversation.. could the template for a drag and drop email allow for the preview function to be copied to it and thus shown in the activity list with a preview?
