@Guest@Guest@Guest and others who have particularly mentioned Tasks, Calendar or Notifications for Tasks you may want to checkout this article which gives an overview of the work we're undertaking to enhance the Tasks system and towards the end an improved in-app notification system that will allow more flexible and more immediate alerts for task/event reminders: https://docs.prospect365.com/en/articles/9027673-activities-tasks-events-are-changing
Just following up on the request for more advanced task notifications, we have begun the development of a significantly enhanced task (and calendar events) system. This will be developed and released in phases, but we've included the requested task notifications in the specification, probably in phase II.
@Guest that notification for new orders is available now if you go to your notification settings. In fact there is one for when a new customer places their first order, and a seperate one for all new orders.
Thanks for your feedback on the task notifications. We're starting a wider project to review tasks and calendar capabilities and will be taking all this feedback into account. It's clear that while some of these email notifications are useful, those who want specific reminders of upcoming tasks might be better serviced with a browser notification rather than an email. We'll be considering that but if you want to specifically vote on that requirement then there is an idea for it here: https://ideas.prospect365.com/ideas/SPA-I-2262
Thank you for implementing this but I agree with the other comments that this is a work in progress. The daily summary email doesn't have any impact as a task reminder and is largely being ignored. It is lost in a sea of emails and as it is truncated in the email client I don't get an "at-a-glance" view of my outstanding tasks, nor are they presented in any kind of order of priority, and I still have to drill in to get the details - which I had to do already on the dashboard task list - so I'm not saving time nor am I being prompted about time-critical events.
What I'd rather have is an email or, better still, a browser pop-up window with time critical reminders that I can action, defer or delegate and that won't disappear until I have done one of those three things, so I can't dismiss them too easily. I'd rather have these in real time - i.e. pops up at the reminder time specified in the task as opposed to having a bunch pop up at once in the morning.
A step in the right direction definitely, but not yet an effective time and task management tool.
I agree with Kylie. We need the option of setting them to alert ON the Due Date, otherwise not that helpful - at least for our team. Glad its being reviewed but please add this option, thank you
TBH - not really, this list is pretty much the same list if we were to look in our tasks in prospect soft and we still need to click thru to PS if there are more than your page allows.
I think if there was more of an email alert for VIP actions on that due date (Ie do a tick box in the task, would you like an email alert for this task) so they dont get lost in a sea of general tasks that needs doing. Email could contain, name of customer and task required.
I pretty much delete this email alert in my inbox each morning.....
The first pass at this feature is available in version 101. This version will be rolling out to customers over the next few weeks so look out for your "What's new" notifications.
This feature is in preview initially, so won't be turned on for all users until we've had some user feedback. But if you'd like to turn it on and try it, instructions on how to do so will be in the "What's new" article.
We'll also be taking suggestions on what other notification users would like to see on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. Just click on the banner in the notifications settings screen to give us your ideas & feedback.
Hi. We are currently planning a feature to allow users to subscribe to a range of daily/weekly/monthly alerts & updates for all sorts of things.
Being notified that you have outstanding or upcoming tasks is one of those. I beleive that this will allow you to subscribe for this on a daily basis and it will then tell you that you have tasks for today/tomorrow. If you subscribe to that weekly it will tell you that you have some for the coming week.
Initially this will be in preview and we'll be taking feedback on all these alerts.
100% Crazy not having this function! please prioritise this Prospect Soft, its causing me headaches, I have to put alerts in Google calender to remind me of the VIP stuff, double entries and time wasting.
As the title says, there isn't yet a way to get email reminders for tasks you have due or upcoming but would be useful for users. Especially users who may not be using the CRM at all times.
Especially useful for outdoor sales people who arent necessarily in front of a computer all day, just a real quick summary email that goes out to list out all of the tasks on that day without having to log into the system on a phone / tablet [e.g....

Gemma, you might be interested in voting on some of these:
- alerts based on reports: https://ideas.prospect365.com/ideas/SPA-I-2343
- alerts when sales person's customers place orders: https://ideas.prospect365.com/ideas/SPA-I-1731
Could we please also have alerts for reports and certain actions like a quote has been cancelled or a quote over £x has been created. Thank you

It'd be more helpful if we can set email notifications x days (of our choice) as reminders before the actual due dates.
Also, need to be able to cc the notfications to additional email addresses. Email example:
YOU HAVE A TASK DUE IN 3 DAYS
Task name:
Due date:
Contact name:
Company name:
Also cc-ed to: management@company.com

Hi Everyone, this feature has been available for a little while now. Have you tried it? does it give you what you need?

Hi Andrew,
No need to start it in Preview, just put in the main platform and get it happening, this is a must.

Having the option for the alert to be via text message would be good also.
@Prospect - when is this likely to be implemented?
I have to say I was shocked it didnt. I discovered this after signing up . If I had of known i might have gone another direction
This is such a simple yet critical feature any CRM should have. Why doesn't Prospect have this already?
Email notifications should be for all tasks or important record changes & customisable.
This would be a welcome addition to the CRM
@Mark Fisher - exactly, almost as basic as it comes...
