"When a quote is accepted the only audit we have is that there is a Customer Order Reference. Similar to above a note in Activity would give some extra traceability and enable us to answer customer queries “Quote 534073 Accepted online by customer”. I’m thinking price queries as much as anything as web orders we get people order and then their accounts department will say we have overcharged as they have the price wrong in their internal system – but as the quote was created by the website this is easy for us to prove we are correct. We won’t see this with quotes we create and send."
