We should be able to set a backup email in case the salesperson isn't set. Sometimes customers start a basket on our website, which we then need to look at and take over the quote and one of the customer service assistants forgets to set the Salesperson. The order is then confirmed and paid for by the customer on the portal. We still need to check the stock and email the customer a confirmation so we need to be notified.
We can already do this with the Notification for Failed Orders in the settings which is great so someone can take a look at the order if the salesperson is off.
