Probably also worth adding that for any users who are in desperate need of this sort of functionality, it is currently possible to do this via our integrations to either Zapier or PowerBI. Zapier can be setup to collect data from the CRM and sent it out via email (or other means), and with PowerBI, once you've published a report it can be made to auto-refresh and then users can subscribe themselves to the report to get email updates.
Obviously not as easy or convenient as having this feature directly in the CRM but either of those solutions would allow you to achieve this functionality right now.
We're working on expanding the notifications that user can subscribe to. If you havent seen them already you can see them via settings / user settings in the left hand menu, and then choosing the Notifications page. There might be some in there that are useful to you.
But, yes, while it's more complicated, being able to subscribe to a custom report would also be great. We'll look and see how possible that might be.
