Some orders require additional details when being processed, and allowing these to be set as part of a custom template that is fired on order confirmation to notify the relevant members of staff would be more efficient. Currently the internal notification system setting does not allow a template to be selected, and will send a default notification email.
I think for this sort of requirement (wanting a custom set of information to be sent to someone / some team) then I'd suggest looking at Zapier which can be configured to do all sorts of things on order confirmation.
