Data Importer matches based on translations

At the moment, if you have different translations for values in a custom dropdown eg a french word for a dropdown value. The data importer will not work unless the english(gb) version of this dropdown item is entered, even if the importer spreadsheet is exported in that language. I would good if we could get it so that the importer could accept any language.
