A customer has reported that they would like to add the delivery charge to a quote table. It would be good if this table was able to be edited in the same way other quote tables are. With customers being able to select columns to add and fields to add to the totals.
It's illogical that one can edit the Quote Tables for Document Templates to determine column width and qty of decimal places - but the automatic email template has fixed and unchangeable values, such as a QTY value to FOUR decimal places. How many companies will want to sell a 1/10,000th part of a product? We only sell items in whole quantities, so if we use the 'quick' method of sending a quote straight from Prospect, we have to delete all those extraneous zeros to the right of an unwanted decimal point, otherwise the prices can get very difficult to view. In addition, we only offer discounts in whole percentages. I can understand someone wanting to offer a 2.25% discount - but if we don't want decimal places, why can't we edit the table to remove them? This issue has rendered the 'fast' method of quoting straight from Prospect almost unusable! Absurdly, it's quicker to create a WORD document from our template (for which the tables ARE editable), save it as a pdf and then attach it to an Outlook email. PLEASE change this ASAP - it's a pain in the **** !
This would be really useful as it would speed up the quoting process significantly.
