So, in essence you can now create an unleashed account from the CRM (which creates the main account) and then send any contacts you want after that.
However, that's not the end of the story. Having done that, and once this is proven and tested, we'll be making a further UI update to the Create Account process to make it easier to quickly (there and then on the create account screen) select the various contacts that you want to sync and effectively send them all in one go. So, we'll keep this idea open until we've also added that feature.
We've now had some good input from the Unleashed engineering team and with the two teams working closely together on the last few bits we are close to making this feature "GA" (Generally Available and turned on by default). More information will be in the next few sets of release notes.
Worth adding that the unleashed team are currently looking into the problem we're having with sync'ing customer Addresses which is really the last major bit of information that we can't sync. So by the time we complete our next phase of sending contacts from CRM to unleashed, and they hopefully sort the Address issue we should have the full system, working both ways. But for now, the sync we have is being used by quite a few customers and is worth trying. Again - more info here: https://docs.prospect365.com/en/articles/7896960-unleashed-two-way-sync
Can you clairify what you think isnt being copied to unleashed and should be?
Without futher feedback we're assuming at the moment that the requirement is to create contact records in Unleashed when creating a customer account? Assuming that's the case then the good news is that this is on the roadmap as an upcoming phase of our "2 way sync" project for unleashed accounts.
Hi Paul, thanks for the feedback. But could you be more explicit about which fields arent being mapped/set that you need? There are some fields that arent available in the Unleashed API and we're working with the Unleashed team to get those added (after which we will support these) but I'd be keen to make sure we're including any that you specifically need. Thanks.
Just a quick update. It's now possible to select specific contacts in CRM and send them to Unleashed, and then have them two-way sync'd after that. More detail can be found here: https://docs.prospect365.com/en/articles/9008408-release-notes-v117
