Restrict Users from changing Product Price on quotes
It would be good to restricts Users from changing the price of a products on quotes or at least set a minimum value for the products to avoid selling them for the wrong price.
Thanks for the reply, apologies it has taken a while to come back to you. I think it applies to both but cost price is key. We want this to be set in Unleashed and controlled by operations so it cannot be changed by normal users (maybe only Admins). The sales price should only be adjusted using the discount line, we want to set our margins depending on price bands, so an account customer has a lower margin applied to a B2C customer for example. I think if these are toggled off by an Admin, we should be able to prevent Users override this option.
Hi - the title of this idea refers to "Product Price on Quotes" - but are you more specifically interested in preventing users from updating cost prices? or selling price? or both?
I would expand my comment below, we want to be able to stop users reenabling the ability to alter costs, price, discount, descriptions etc. At the moment these can be toggled on or off by the Admin, but users can go back in and change the system settings.
This seems pretty fundamental to us. A user can edit the cost of an item without any control. We use Unleashed for fulfilment with all costs loaded and controlled by our operations team into Unleashed. This is synced to Prospect where our Sales teams are not allowed to edit costs. If they edit the line item cost, and apply a discount to reduce the sales price it not only masks the margin impact, but it stops us configuring the relevant controls into the system to match our procedures.

It is possible to set a minimum margin on a quote overall.
Would using this current feature help?
