In a CRM system connected to Unleashed, you can automatically create equipment items for products when importing invoices with those product lines on. If the serial number(s) exist in Unleashed at the time of importing the invoice they will be imported, but if they are added after, there is no retroactive sync that will update them.
This would be beneficial if you don't have the serial numbers to hand when invoicing, as there is then no way to update this in CRM afterwards.
