Currently when copying a quote line we copy of these fields
"Sku","Quantity","Description","Unit Price", "Discount", "Extended Description"
This means that the cost price will not be copied over to the new lines.
It would be beneficial to our users to allow them to copy this field as well. This would allow our users to copy lines from one quote to another and maintain any bespoke cost prices that were set up on the original quote, and would save them time having to re-enter these on the new quote.
We could also provide the option to reset pricing and discounts when copying the quote lines. If the user wanted the same lines, without the bespoke pricing, they have the option to do it.
This feature is desperately required.
The copy feature is unusable without being able to copy cost price as well. I have no idea why it exists without it.
This is rock-bottom basic functionality and a major barrier to productivity.
currently wasting time having to re input pricing that has not copied over.
This would be really helpful when building bigger quotes that use non-stock items.
Copying Cost Price would be essential in the case of non stock items eg Price Records from Access Dimensions which you may use for multiple items on one quote and no default sale or cost price is defined on the record
