Have a default value for required fields so you don't need to fill it in

Most record types, like Opportunity, have system required fields like 'Size'. These have to have a value but for some Customers these fields aren't needed for their processes. Now that we have the default value, it would be great to have an option where if the default value is set, then you can remove the field from the UI and creation screen. The main idea is for the field to not even be visible on the creation window as it's not needed. This way Customers have greater control over the creation window but also removes any unnecessary steps.
