When Stock codes are renamed in Dimensions please can the integration to CRM change the SKU codes in CRM too.
When the change is made in dimensions it updates all parts of the system to the new stock code so all sales data and stock transactions are retained by the new code.
Currently the integration between the 2 platforms makes the old SKU in CRM obselete and then a new product is created in CRM.
This causes multiple issues in CRM...
If this product is on unconfirmed quotations then you have to change the product to the new SKU on every quote to process the orders.
Sales data and product usage in CRM is split accross 2 codes for the same product.
Maybe a product merge facility could be considered so that you can join the products back together in CRM afterwards - this would preferably be done automatically but could be done manually if this is not possible to automate.
