More obvious 'important notes' within the notepad. Such as highlight the whole note a different colour

Further feed back from the customer:
Pinned = Float to the top
Important = background orange
Pinned and Imp = Orange and float to top

In PAR's case, having the "You added a note (a few seconds ago) - General Note" message in bold and red would be an acceptable solution
