Currently the CRM only really support VAT and if we are wanting to expand into the Americas we are going to need to support Sales Tax.
It isn't even just about expanding into that market, it would currently prevent us from selling to an international customer who operates in both the UK and the Americas.
Quickbooks automatically calculates tax based on multiple tax rates depending on location. Prospect imports those individual tax rates and then applies only one of them individually to an order which causes the tax to be much lower. We originally suggested creating a flat tax rate in Quickbooks to workaround this but you are unable to do this because quickbooks always uses the automatic calculations.

Because our CRM is focused on B2B selling this hasnt been an issue. But, if it is important to customers and gets more votes we'll certainly consider adding more functionality in this area.
