Converting a Quote Lead mashup to a Lead

It has been suggested that it would be useful to be able to convert a Quote Lead mashup to a Lead later down the line

Sometimes, users might come across the scenario where they start off with a Quote (using the Quote Lead mashup) as they think this will be quite a quick sale, but this then turns into a bigger/more of a long-term opportunity. In this scenario it would be a useful feature to be able to convert that Quote to a Lead

Although most of the Lead fields are available on the Quote Lead mashup, one benefit of being able to convert it to a Lead would be that users can have multiple Quotes under that Lead (as this is often how the original Quote could become more complex where they are giving a range of different options to the customer). So, being able to convert it to a Lead, with the lead information (such as estimated close date, Guttometer and Activity) being stored on the Lead and the Quote kept as a Quote, would then allow additional Quotes to be created as well
