In our product we now have a lot of menu's and navigation options.
I think we can simplify a small part of the navigation fairly easily
First of all, we can merge the platform, apps menu with the main app menu. In this video you can see that we already have a version of this for the mobile menu - where we put the apps as an option within the main menu.

Jira's menu has a similar thing. the put it at the bottom, near to settings. I've seen similar in other apps. it might make sense for us to do the same:

Or, the alternative option is to put it in the top right, next to search, and help. This is where google puts it in gsuite (and wierdly where it "jumps to" in microsoft outlook/sharepoint when the screen is shrunk a bit!!)
Secondly, on mobile, we should make this left-hand menu float over the screen, and be full width, with full menu and text showing - making it a left-hand panel that sequeezes everything to the right of it means that everything looks confused and more squished. Plus having an "expand/shrink" option on the mobile as well as a "show/hide" option just adds too much menu ui complexity.
