In a distribution business throughput is highly important, and increasing order size is a good way of increasing profitability.
We currently support cross selling, must selling and upgrades however we don't have any feature to increase order size (buy 5 instead of 4 etc.)
This could be a manually configured feature based on quantity breaks etc. however discounts could be configured automatically.
If a product sells for £10 but only costs £6 there the seller £4 margin. If however you sold 2 at £9 each, you only make £3 margin per item but you have increased the order margin to £6.
Using data analytics you could calculate the offers based on margins, stock availability and business throughput.
