It would be great if the quote table dynamically changed to show a discount column when a discount has been applied to the quote record. Currently, you would need to separate document templates to achieve this. This enhancement would need to be a system option as some customers may not want the discount to automatically show.
The reduction of the multiple templates required presently would be a major improvement in the management of the document templates.

This functionality is already available for e-mail templates, but is sorely lacking for Word version quotation templates.
Both Discount & Delivery charges should be automatically detected & displayed if present. Without this we are mandated to have multiple templates to accomodate all situations:

Quote with Delivery
Quote with Discount & Delivery
When you multiply this across the different operating companies that we have it makes a lot of overhead in mainting these templates as well as causing complexity for users to ensure they always choose the correct template.
