Many B2B operating businesses would benefit from automated emails being sent out, following on from CRM action. For example, if an order is confirmed and sent through to their accounts or inventory management system (Unleashed or Xero etc.), this could result in a marketing email being ping'd out in the hope of increased business or increased customer retention rates. Similarly emails could be sent out after a customer has not ordered in x amount of time - the options of lists goes on. This should obviously be implemented as a flexible, configurable and optional feature and I believe this would really wow our customers in a demonstration.
Expand your vision! Right now, the automation flow options are solely emails based on emails. Why not allow any CRM field value to trigger an automation? And the automation should be an email OR a TASK OR a CRM field update! For instance, if the customer hasn't ordered for a year, I'd want to trigger an email asking why, and a sales task to follow up, and perhaps a pipeline switch and/or status update!
An added Automation Flow type for deadlines would be great. We are about to send a mass email to groups of our clients with updated payment terms coming into effect in a couple months. We would like to schedule a follow up email a day or two before the deadline as a final reminder. It would be good to have the option to either send after x amount of days (hours make it quite confusing) or on a specific date (good for a one off email chaser like this)
Hi all, this feature is available in preview as part of release 115. In the first release it's limited to email chasers on quotes but we'll build on this as we go - and especially when we've built the new tasks system that we're currently working on (i.e so that you can send 3 email chasers and then assign a task to call or something like that)
You can find out more about this new feature, and how to turn it on in the 115 release notes: https://docs.prospect365.com/en/articles/8794617-release-notes-v115
We're planning a first iteration of this that just what you want Nicola! The first release will be limited to an email sequence to chase a quote, but I'm sure we'll build on that over time.
Thanks Tony, just to add to this, I would want to be able to automate quote chaser emails so different chaser emails can be sent based on the stage after quote (3 days, 21 days, 28 days and after quote closed).
