Would be great to have the option to turn off Most frequently ordered items.
ADMIN RESPONSE
Jan 31, 2020
We will be providing a user based option to disable the suggestions list in the next update. Once completed it will be rolled out to customers throughout February.
Good Morning, please can you get this function up and running as soon as possible. I spent twenty minutes this morning sorting a quote. If you swap to a different program, Outlook etc when you return to prospect soft it has added a line. You then have to delete and then go on to add the correct item. Get it turned off.
I haven't seen the update providing the user based option to disable the suggestions list come through yet, please could you advise if it is now available to all customer?
We have a very wide range of products and parts in our system and this feature is distracting, unnecessary and often causes the wrong part to be selected. Today for example, I typed in the exact product code I wanted to quote my customer, PS instead showed me a similar match with the exact match being placed 2nd in the list. Almost a very costly mistake.
Please remove the feature altogether or make it "switch-off-able".
The product search is good enough now that we don't need guidance finding items. This function might only be helpful for a business where customers do repeat orders for just a handful of products from a huge catalog . Toner sales to a business which has 5 printers for example. We are not that business though and would turn it off given the opportunity.

We sell hundreds of different products so to have the pop up suggest some will be useless as it is never going to pick the right ones and it takes seconds for us to enter the product code, so it isn't going to save time. To have the option to disable it completely will make far more sense for us.
We will be updating this feature in the near future so that the the suggestions popup only appears automatically on a quote that has no lines (ie, when creating a fresh quote).
I'd be interested in hearing to what extent this resolves frustration with the feature since it's not totally clear how many people are annoyed by the automatic popup specifically or whether it is the suggestions themselves that are a problem.
I'd also be interested if anyone thinks that it still popping up on brand new quotes is a problem. Our assumption is that the majority of people immediately start adding products to a quote after creating it so focusing this input should be a time saver for most use cases. If there are common scenarios where doing this is a problem we may consider adding a system option to disable auto focusing entirely.
This option can cause multiply lines of the same product, have to overtype delete the automatic next line. Also comes up when reviewing a quote and can inadvertently add lines to an existing quote. I am finding it a complete hindrance.
The frequently ordered items - It is distracting and obscures the product already put on an order or a quote so slows you down. It does some times stop me using the system
Done thanks Jethro
Hi Peter, it is live, they just didn't tell us - unless you are on an old version. steps below on how to turn it off.
Click on your avatar in the top right:, then "about me"
Select “Settings” on the left handside
disable the bottom two options under "Quote lines"

Not necessary
I reiterate Traceys comments, this option needs to be selectable or off, it is nothing but a hindrance.

this option is very annoying and can cause mistakes to be made. please remove this ASAP.
This is awful and a step backwards in terms of how easy it is to process orders. Please change this back ASAP!

This item is very distracting and myself and colleagues keep selecting unwanted items

we supply a variety of different products to our customers, so we don't have the need to populate most frequently ordered items
