A lot of CRM's in the market will automatically store incoming and even outgoing outlook messages. A lot of customers ask for this when i talk about STCRM.
And/Or include some tagging in outbound emails so that replies are then automatically saved to the CRM against the same quote/problem/opportunity etc.
Not directly on this idea, but Jane, you did mention in your comment about replying to emails in the CRM. We've coded and are rolling out a new feature right now that allows you to reply or forward an email stored in the CRM. (so doesnt solve this request, but will generally help with email management & processing)
Agreed- really also need to be able to respond to an email with a template. Right now we are constantly going back and forth between two systems - vey cumbersome and my staff sometimes would rather just flag emails in outlook then have to sync everything with prospect.
Fully agree - essential in todays world. Couple this with the current powerful RFM module and you'd have a CRM that is hard to beat.
