Many new customers expect that when they update records in Unleashed that the records in the CRM will also get updated. It is assumed that these records are synced rather than just imported. We should see if something like this is possible.
This is not currently possible due to limitations in the Unleashed API

And just a small note that customer type field isn't being fully sync'd at the moment as there is some complexity/issue which we're looking into.
Hi All, further update on this feature request. Following on from the initial sync of basic account data, Unleashed have expanded their API for us to include the things we need for two-way updates of Contacts. So, from release 112 (rolling out to customers right now) this feature will begin to sync contact data too. This will two-way sync existing contacts that are matched. It will also sync new contacts from Unleashed to CRM. At the moment it doesnt automatically send all new CRM contacts to Unleashed as lots of users have told us they want more control over this bit... and we're looking at how we might do that.

Yes, the double handling of the company contacts information is very time consuming. We wanted to make Prospect "the" system for our salespeople but they still have use both.
Hi Andrew - I note your comment from June saying this is now available but I think it is only for select business contact - right? We, the people, are talking about individual people contacts
I agree with previous comments, bizarre that an integrated CRM software doesn't sync the contacts, thus duplicating the work required to update contacts/maintain accurate records. Our operations team primarily work from Unleashed so the contacts need to be up to date in Unleashed as well as Prospect. Unleashed also feeds into our accounting software that the accounts team use. All of the software charges per user so giving all staff members access to all software is cost prohibitive.
This is now available and can be turned on via a system setting, but due to current limitations in the Unleashed API, this feature is limited to only sync'ing certain fields. Please see the release notes for more details: https://docs.prospect365.com/en/articles/7325482-release-notes-v103~
Obviously we'll continue to work with the Unleashed team on this one, to see if we can improve the features of the Unleashed API and enable more comprehensive 2-way sync of this data
We're currently planning an update for this, although initially this will only be for company information due to limitations in the Unleashed API and the way that data is stored. But, over time we plan to improve this feature
Totally agree it's almost enough to make us want to chuck in ProspectSoft. By its very definition it's a CRM platfrom it should integrate our customers without us needing to double up on data entry!
I thought it already did this - then discovered that our primary Unleashed contacts do not synch-thru to Prospect. Very frustrating...
