Currently when you change the quantity on a line within the CRM the discount is reset to zero.
I think there should be a system option to allow customers to decide whether the discount is reset to zero; or the discount already applied should then be applied for the additional quantity on the quote.
Or if the price/discount has been specially entered (overwritten from the default) then dont overwrite it when the qty changes
I can imagine both scenarios are realistic here. Just because a discount is set for one product doesn't necessarily apply If should the customer decide to buy multiple products. It would be safer to reset the discount to 0 allowing the customer to query the quote should a mistake be made with the discount after the change in quantity.
At the same time functionality allowing the discount just be applied regardless of the quantity may make late amendments to quotes quantities a bit simpler and less prone to mistakes.
Our customers have fixed discounts regardless of quantity so this is currently an annoying feature and require me to remember to reset the discount when altering the quantity. This has been forgotten mant times upsetting customers.
In a previous version of PS, there was a simple yes/no pop up which appeared when changing the quantity "revert to default pricing?"
We would like the ability to stop discount resetting when a quantity is changed as this often causes us issues.
