A customer would find it useful to upload the account manager to Mailchimp with the contacts that get uploaded. This can be useful when sending e-shots from certain account managers.
This is great news. I can see from my most recent campaign that the Account manager field is now included in the export .csv data but they are not populated. I've checked a few contacts in mailchimpm and while account manager field is there it doesn't seem to be syncing with CRM yet. Do I need to do anything?
This feature has been released as part of v104 which is being rolled out to customers now. You shouldnt need to do anything or change your configuration, the next sync (after your CRM updates to v104) will add two new fields to your mailchimp configuration and start sync'ing these two fields.
We're planning to auto-sync the account managers name, and the account managers email address from the CRM into a couple of Mailchimp custom fields. That should allow you to use them as filters (to create campaigns) or as merge fields within your email content
