Just a quick update, we're a couple of sprints into the coding of this feature, and while there's lots yet to do it looks pretty exciting! Again, if you're interested in becoming an early adopter, please use the link above to register your interest. Thx.
For more detail on what's changing check out this article.
But, we've now completed the first part of this development (we've rewritten tasks and are now working on Calendars & Events) so why not Register your interest to get involved as an Early Adopter and give us your feedback on these major product enhancements.
We're just finalizing the design phase of this work and will soon begin coding this new feature. It is however part of a larger piece of work and will follow-on from delivering a new/upgraded tasks feature so it will be a couple more months before this is available, even in preview. I know it has already been a long time coming (too long probably) but we're super-confident that the design work has been exhaustive and extensive, and that you're going to love the new tasks, as well as the calendar features as they roll out.
I'd simply like to be able to assign tasks and either my google cal or outlook would automatically populate with the task. If I then move the task in my calendar it would then update the CRM task with the new time. This would be epic.
A calendar would be perfect for our Service team activities, however I note Prospect offering the Zapier integration. I have looked into this, and to have a Team account, and depending on the payment option, it is either a one off annual cost of $1310.07 AUD p.a. or a monthly charge of $163.76 AUD /mth equating to $1965.12 p.a.
I find this an expensive option just to calendarize tasks. I hope the Prospect team can provide a solution within the software rather than using a 3rd party app.
This is essential. Other systems have this as a basic requirement. Linking in to Outlook and Google calemdars would be perfect. the abiility to report and move tasks and other functions would be som much easier and quicker with thi function enabled.
Totally a must do, This would make life much easier and it will also show your calls what were done on that day. The last 2 systems I have worked with both spoke to outlook and its own calendar so you could set up further meetings and it would get logged into your both calendars so anyone can see that there is a meeting set up and they can add in the notes that anything that needs mentioned. Also when you fill in the outlook part it automatically logs into you call which saves double work sometimes triple work depending on signals. Happy to help wherever I can to get this going a total time saver and it will also show sales office staff what you have planned for the customer i.e. meetings, demo days training days and many more.
A calendar feature could add much value to your customers meaning users like me and others who have voted here in my view. It could also be a great time saver for us that use your product if it was added in such a way that would enhance planning efficiency & overall productivity for users. I'd be happy to share my ideas & experiences during your internal discussions on possibly adding a calendar feature if you find yourself looking for field feedback from current users.
I have no more votes quota would love to vote for this. It seems to have many votes, when will this be actioned? or how many votes do we need for this to be actioned?
During onboarding, 3 of 4 sales reps said they have never used a CRM that doesnt have a calendar view for them to plan their calls and tasks.

Yes a calendar plug for tasks and individual salespeople would be a game-changer
