I have recently had you guys import my contact database. For some reason there are no Firts/Lastnames included.
It would be nice to be able to filter these fields on the ABSENCE of data
To confirm the reason that you cannot filter by empty surnames is because in your setup surnames arent expected to be empty. Different customers have wanted different functionality around surnames being require or optional so there is in fact a system setting for this. Support can help you set this setting to allow empty surnames if you want, and then (because surnames will be allowed to be empty) the surname filter will then automatically offer this filter option (as it does already for first names)
Hi Mark. You can filter lists where the First name is empty. See screenshot:
I honestly have no idea why you cannot do the same on Last Name ... that does seem a bit odd so we'll get that looked into.
