Lots of our customers will set "budgets" for how much they expect to get from each of their customers each year. They then use spreadsheets to manage the tracking of how they are doing against these budgets. We should create a standard process for logging budgets against a company or division and then have standard reports to show how we are doing against them. This could both be a tile in the at a glance to show sales vs budget YTD and also we could provide sales teams with customers most behind on their budget.
We're very much at the early stages, but have begun to build some preview "Goals and Targets" features. At the moment these are all sales revenue based (rather than activities like calls) but over time we intend to take feedback and expand the goals that are available.
Also, in this very first release the goals and results are only available for Admins to preview... but obviously after some initial feedback it would be the intention for teams to see their goals vs results on a dashboard or similar.
